Durable Lick Feeders

API combines quality workmanship, creative design, and state-of-the-art materials to allow us to build tough and durable lick feeders that will deliver years of service. As proud members of both the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), we have carefully designed and manufactured our livestock supplement feeders to provide access to vital nutrients with long-term reliability.

Prime melt compounded polyethylene construction resists dents and punctures and provides mold, mildew, and fungal resistance. To ensure long-term performance, our liquid supplement tubs include stainless steel hardware that won’t rust or corrode. Lids and 17-inch deep tanks are rotationally molded using the highest quality of UV-stabilized resin for long life and colorfastness. The internal plastic components are made in-house using advanced injection molding processes. By retaining manufacturing in-house we can keep customer costs lower without sacrificing the quality we are known for.

Having reliable access to vital nutrients is important to ensure a healthy herd, and we have specially engineered our durable lick feeders to withstand harsh environments and rowdy livestock so animals have continued access to the supplements they require. The reinforced and ribbed domed top, combined with the inverted convex base and dual troughs ensure complete liquid molasses clean-out while preventing dome collapse. The ribbed water dams ensure drainage of water around wheel openings, preventing lost product and potential contamination.

API’s expertly designed durable lick feeders are engineered to ensure reliable access to vital nutrients. To that end, we have incorporated several features aimed at the human user to ensure optimal performance through the supplement tubs long life, including:
